How we answer
We keep answers general because every property is different. Soil, slope, existing structures and use change the right specification. When we visit, we measure, look at drainage and check access, then put a written scope in your hands that reflects what we saw. If a project is not suitable for concrete, or if a repair would do, we will say so. How much does a concrete driveway cost in Logan, UT?

How thick should a driveway be?
Four inches is a common minimum for cars; 5 to 6 inches suits trucks, trailers and RVs, with reinforcement.
How long before I can drive on new concrete?
Foot traffic often returns within a day or two. Vehicles commonly need about a week, depending on mix, thickness and weather.
Do you pour in winter in Cache Valley?

Why does concrete crack?
Shrinkage, settlement, restrained movement, overloading and freeze-thaw. Joints guide cracks, and base and drainage reduce them. Hairline cracks are common.
What is air-entrained concrete?
Concrete containing microscopic air bubbles that relieve pressure from freezing water. It is standard for exterior flatwork in cold climates.
Can I use rock salt on my driveway?
Avoid it on new concrete. On older concrete use sparingly, prefer sand, and never use fertilizer-based melts. See the de-icing guide.
Should I seal my concrete?
Sealing helps decorative surfaces and can reduce water absorption on others. It does not replace drainage and good construction.
Concrete or asphalt for a driveway?
Concrete usually costs more and lasts longer; asphalt costs less and needs periodic sealing. See the comparison.

How does a warranty work?

Sometimes. We evaluate base, drainage and adjacent slabs. A patch must tie in well and the matching color may differ.
